A Week in the Life
Tuesday NightsThe main gathering for C4 is held every Tuesday night at 7:30 in the C4/Senior High room. This is an opportunity to worship God through singing, prayer, teaching, and a segment we like to call The Current. The Youth Cafe is open at 7, so come early for free coffee and snacks and to hang out.
Why Tuesday?
Good question. We believe that it is important to be involved in the life of the church. By having our main gathering on Tuesday nights, we are free on Sunday mornings to be a part of the corporate worship service as well as either meeting with an MPACT group or serving in one of the many ministries of the church.
What Do Sunday Mornings Look Like?
They look different for everyone. Though we are all a part of the corporate worship service, some attend the first service at 9:25 and others attend the second at 11. Many of us meet in MPACT groups during the second service, which gives us an opportunity to discuss and apply the message we just heard. Others serve in ministries which range from the nursery to the welcome center to first aid. No matter what your gifts and interests are, we can find a niche for you.
MPACT
MPACT is our small group ministry, which stands for Maturing through Prayer, Accountability, Care, and Teaching. Most groups meet on Sunday mornings, but others meet at various times throughout the week. E-mail Greg at gdespres@calvarychurch.org for information on joining an MPACT group.
Serving in Minisry
As we drink deep of Christ, we believe it is important to flow to others. One way to do that is by serving the larger church body on Sunday mornings.
