Fall 2008 Courses
Learn to encounter God in a life-transforming way! These Bible studies will equip you with tools that will help you discover Truth for yourself, go deeper and disciple others.
Is there such a thing as absolute Truth? Can it be known? And is it relevent to your life? God's Word says yes to all 3 questions. You know you need to be in the Word every day, and to "...be transformed by the renewing of your mind" (Romans 12:2). And with this approach you will develop life-long habits so you can say with the psalmist, "I have not turned aside from Your ordinances, for You Yourself have taught me" (Psalm 119:102).
For the Precept Upon Precept (PUP) courses listed below, you will be encouraged to study the Word of God on a DAILY basis, and then meet as a class for discussion either Monday or Tuesday evening, from 7 to 9pm. You will also view a video lecture from Precept Ministries International.
For the Proverbs New Inductive Study Series (NISS) shown below, you will only meet for one and one-half hours each week, with no video lecture. It is a survey course as opposed to the more in-depth PUP courses. Less out-of-class study time is required.
