In this month's installment of Calvary in 60, we highlight our high school graduates, Child Dedication, Father's Day, and our three latest series.
The month of June was graduation month at Calvary Church as we hosted six different high school graduations in our auditorium for schools all over Lancaster County. Besides hosting outside graduations, we also honored our Student Ministries' graduates in each of our final services in May. There were three particular students we highlighted in the video, and their full interviews can now be found on our Stories page.
Earlier in the month, we had the privilege of walking alongside several families as they dedicated their children to the Lord. These parents committed themselves to the task of intentionally discipling their children toward the goal of raising godly men and women.
After celebrating moms in May, June was for the dads as we thanked all our fathers on the 16th and 17th and provided coupon sheets intended to create opportunities for dads and their sons and daughters to spend time together.
Finally, June saw three different sermon series as we wrapped up our popular Mythbusters series in early June, returned to Resolute for two weeks where we focused on the concepts of Gratitude and Generosity, and finally on June 30th entered our main summer series entitled “seeing God through the PSALMS.”

Short-Term Missions Trips
Calvary Church is a big family Pursuing Life in Christ, which includes "Going into God's World both here and around the globe." One important way we do this is by sending out short-term ministry teams. This year, Global and Student Ministries are sending seven teams (144 individuals) to places near and far off. Two of these trips (the Joni & Friends Family Retreat and Student Ministry's DC Trip) took place in the final week of June. Global Partner Commissioning
On June 23 and 24, we had the joy of commissioning the Diedrich family as Global Partners as they prepare to go serve in France. Please pray for good bonding and fruitful collaboration with the existing team they will be joining, wisdom for Silvain and Carolyn as they parent their boys through the transition, and that Jesus would shine in and through them to draw people to know Him personally as they seek to be channels of God's grace and love to those they serve.
