On March 1, the Rowleys retired as Calvary Church Global Partners. Their dedication to the French-speaking people has been a lifetime commitment that Calvary Church has been part of from the beginning. We want to thank them for their faithful service.

The Rowleys set out from Calvary in 1975 on what has become a 46-year LiveSent journey of faith and perseverance. During that time the Rowleys have lived in 15 homes in eight cities! Currently, the Rowleys reside in Quebec, Canada.

David and Cheryl were initially involved in church planting, teaching, and leadership positions in a church-planting organization in France. Their efforts included bringing people to Christ, discipling believers, teaching and nurturing, along with much hospitality while raising three kids!

Currently, David serves as Executive Director of the French Baptist Union in Quebec and will continue in his current leadership position for 2 more years. He has been a gracious change agent wherever he has ministered. In his current role, he seeks to embed new church plants in communities and chart pathways to growth for existing churches.  Cheryl is a life coach and conference speaker, setting women on a journey of discovery in identity, life vocation, and spiritual maturity.

“We have experienced the entire spectrum of emotions during these years, but one thing has upheld us and kept us moving forward – the prayers of God’s people lifting us up and keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus. We thank you for enabling us from the bottom of our hearts. We will carry on as before with people, organizations, faith, and growth as our focus and see where God leads each day into the future. We want to thank everyone for your investment in the Francophile world through us, and for supporting us in so many ways through the years.” – David & Cheryl Rowley
