The Calvary Care food pantry and clothing bank is available to those who qualify through the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank and/or Calvary’s Benevolence Committee. We partner with the Central PA Food Bank, Blessings of Hope, and other local businesses who support our mission.
MATTHEW 25:35-36
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat…naked, and you clothed me.”

Calvary Care Hours
Wednesday | 2:00-6:00pm
Thursday | 9:00-10:45am
What We Offer:
Food Pantry
The food pantry offers a variety of packaged dry goods, along with frozen meats, vegetables, and prepared foods. Fresh produce and dairy products are also delivered each week to supplement our food needs. (Each family member must meet financial qualifications set by the Central PA Food Bank and/or Calvary’s Benevolence Committee.)

Clothing Bank
The clothing bank offers gently used—and some new—adult, youth, and children’s clothes to qualified food pantry households, as well as Calvary Church Global Partners and others in need. Church members are encouraged to donate clean clothes and shoes during open store hours.

Special Events
Calvary Care also provides four special events for our families in need throughout the year. These events include food, clothing, supplies, and financial gifts to help celebrate holidays and the back-to-school season. Church volunteers help assemble and distribute these gift packages.

Get Involved
Support Calvary Care’s specific product needs by singing up to receive occasional emails about products that are in short supply at the food or clothing bank. Upon receiving an email from Calvary Care, and if you are able, you will purchase the designated item, then bring it to church the following Sunday and deposit it into the designated receptacle at a Connection Center. Learn more.
Sometimes people need extra help, and you could be the one that leads them to resources that can make a difference in their life! Complete this form to refer a family, and a Calvary Church representative will connect them with available options.
Volunteering generally requires the ability to physically lift and move items. We have positions that include early Wednesday morning set-up and restocking, shopping volunteers, front desk check-in duties (minor computer skills required), special events setup and packing, clothing sorters and organizers, and one-time volunteer substitutes. If you are interested in any of these positions, please complete this form and select Congregation Care. Someone from Calvary Care will be in contact with you.
Since Calvary Care is supported through the Benevolence Committee, you can give directly to the Benevolence Fund.
