Cooperation, Consequences, & Keeping Your Sanity

In this “Basic Tools” seminar, you’ll learn how to set your children up for long-term success. We give practical application, relevant illustrations, and many helpful suggestions. Parents learn ways to mold and direct the heart of a child through giving instructions, consequences, and a positive conclusion to discipline times.

Anger, Attitudes, and Accepting “No” as an Answer

Children can be notorious for responding with tantrums, bad attitudes, or using demanding tactics such as arguing, whining, or badgering to get what they want. Parents will learn some tried and true ways to address these challenges and move from the “issue” to the “process.” In addition, you’ll learn how to help your child develop a plan for managing their own disappointments, frustrations, and anger.

Honor: The Secret Ingredient in Family Life

Honor is God’s anti-selfishness solution, and He designed it to be learned in the home. Sometimes parents simply think of honor as manners or respect, but it’s much more than that. Honor shows value to others and actually teaches kids to do more than what’s expected with a good attitude.

Gospel Threads

Sharing the gospel with our children is one of our greatest and most important responsibilities as parents! In this seminar, learn how to weave the essential threads of the gospel into the fabric of everyday family life to clearly explain how your child can accept Christ as Savior.

Internet Safety for Families

The world is now at our fingertips, and it can be dizzying how fast things change. This seminar equips parents to understand the technology needed for an internet-safe home. It covers how to make wise choices related to children’s use of technology and media at different stages of their lives, as well as wise decisions about hardware and software.

Engaging Kids in Worship

We love seeing kids and parents together in the pews on Sunday mornings! Teaching your children to worship God is one of the most important things you can do, but we know that it can sometimes be challenging for parents. This one-time class will inspire and encourage you with suggestions for keeping your elementary-aged children engaged throughout the entire worship service.

Raising Sexually Faithful Kids

Shepherd your children with clarity and confidence in today’s sexually confused. You’ll be equipped with a biblical framework and practical tools to engage with your children regarding sex and sexuality. This course includes both video content and in-person discussion. Although this series is geared towards elementary and middle school children, content will be applicable for high school ages as well.
