Handi*Vangelism Ministries’ Day Camp will serve over 120 youth and adults with disabilities this June and July through 11 three-day sessions at their Akron location—including 15-20 individuals from Calvary’s Disability Ministry. The First Aid Team plays a vital role by offering immediate first aid and support during medical situations and helping provide a safe and caring environment on Sundays and Wednesdays. If you have medical training and experience, we’d love to have you on our team! Click below to get started.
Day of Blessing
Women who care for a family member with a disability or chronic illness are invited to join us on April 25 for Day of Blessing. This special morning is designed to bring encouragement as you fellowship with other women.
Dementia Friends Info Session
Join us on Thursday, April 23, from 1:00-2:30pm, to hear from Memory Care Educator, Mary Schreiber, about the realities of living with dementia and how we, as a church family, can support those affected and their families.
Secret Church
Secret Church is an annual event, simulcast by Radical. Join us on April 18 for this six-hour experience that includes intensive study of God’s Word and passionate prayer for the persecuted church. This year, we will study the life of Elijah and learn how to cultivate courageous and resilient faith, even in the midst of hardships. The event will begin at 1:00pm, and registration includes a study guide, dinner, and snacks.
Surrendering the Secret
Surrendering the Secret is an eight-week Bible Study designed to encourage women who have gone through the trauma of abortion to embrace God’s healing and grace… all in a safe, private environment. The next session begins Tuesday, May 5. For confidential inquiries, click below.
Hope for the Journey
Do you care for a child who has experienced trauma? On Sunday, April 18, we’re partnering with Keystone Family Alliance to host the Hope for the Journey Conference. We’ll equip you with tools to build stronger connections and bring healing to kids by introducing a proven approach to parenting and caregiving that transforms everyday interactions.
Calvary Homes Benefit Dinner
A Calvary Homes Benefit Dinner will be held on Thursday, April 30, at 5:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. The evening will feature a keynote message from Peter Greer, President of HOPE International, and a special highlight on Christ-centered care with Dr. Dale Hursh. Proceeds directly support benevolent resident care.
