Storm Update
Last weekend, Calvary Church suffered roof damage over the Calvary 56 hallway, leading to water damage on all three levels. As a result, Sunday morning elementary ministries (grades 1-6) will pause for the rest of July, and those families will worship together in our main services. Birth-Kindergarten, Student Ministries, and the Conqueror’s Class will continue as normal.
Constitution Update
Proposed revisions to the Calvary Church Constitution are available at Connection Centers. These revisions are intended to provide greater clarity, simplify certain areas of governance, strengthen our biblical structure, and position Calvary well for future ministry. Please email the elders with any questions, comments, or feedback.
Calvary Care Backpack Drive
Help us collect backpacks filled with school supplies to benefit K-12 students served by Calvary Care. Grab one of the tags from the wall in the lobby and fill a backpack with the listed supplies. Return the filled backpack with the tag attached to a Connection Center by August 2.
Loss of Spouse GriefShare
A single session will be held on Wednesday, July 15, at 3:00pm in room 318 for those whose spouse has passed away. No registration needed. Contact Karen at (717) 940-7186 with questions.
Women’s BUNCO Pop Up
All ladies are invited to join us on July 16 at 6:30pm for a fun night of BUNCO! This fast-paced dice game is super easy to learn and provides a chance for you to get to know other women through connection and conversation. Never played? Don’t worry! We’ll teach you. Cost is $5 at the door.
Global Ice Cream Social
Mark your calendars and join Global Ministries on Friday, July 17, at 6:30pm for soft serve ice cream, fellowship, and an opportunity to hear from Global Partners who are currently Stateside.
Widow & Widower Picnic
Join us on Saturday, August 8, from 12:30–3:00pm in the East Room for fellowship and games. Widows and widowers of all ages are welcome, and children living at home are invited to attend as well.

Marriage is one of God’s greatest gifts, but it was never meant to carry the weight of being our greatest hope. As we look to Scripture to understand God’s design for marriage, we’ll discover how God uses marriage (and all relationships) to shape us into the image of Christ and display the beauty of the gospel.
