Run for the Haven

A Run for the Haven 5K will take place on Saturday, April 5, at 8:00am, right here at Calvary Church. Come participate as a runner, walker, or volunteer.

Care Communities

Do you have a heart for vulnerable children? While not everyone is called to foster or adopt, there are ways for everyone to support adoptive and foster families. Care Communities come alongside these families by providing practical care through meals, prayer, childcare, and more! Join us on Saturday, April 12, at 10:30am to learn how you can get involved. Sign up below, or contact Nancy at ndanehower@gmail.com with any questions.

Annual Book Sale

Book lovers, mark your calendars! Our annual book sale is taking place on Wednesday, April 2, from 10:00am-8:30pm, and Thursday, April 3, from 10:00am-1:00pm! You’ll find thousands of paperbacks for $1 and hardbacks for $2. On Thursday, all books will be half price. We hope to see you there!

Sound of Hope Movie

Next Sunday, March 30, the Adoption and Foster Ministry will be hosting a free viewing of The Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot, at 3:00pm in the Lower Auditorium. This film is an inspiring true story about a church in Texas that ignited a movement to transform their community. Join us to learn more about the needs of vulnerable children and how the church can come together to help meet their needs. Popcorn will be provided.

Hope for the Journey

Do you care for a child who has experienced trauma? On Sunday, April 5, we’re partnering with Keystone Family Alliance to host the Hope for the Journey Conference. We’ll equip you with tools to build stronger connections and bring healing to kids by introducing a proven approach to parenting and caregiving that transforms everyday interactions. If you’re a foster or adoptive parent, educator, ministry leader, or simply someone who cares for kids, we hope you’ll join us! Sign up for free online.

Calvary Homes Benefit Dinner

You’re invited to join us on Friday, April 11, at 5:00pm in Fellowship Hall for an evening of fellowship, music, dinner, and a keynote message from Roger North, founder and former CEO of North Group Consultants. Proceeds support resident care.
