Filled with Short-Term Missions Trips, Global Partner Commissionings, and New Member Recognitions, the month of July kept the people of Calvary Church busy. Check out the video above or the blog below for all the info!
The major theme of the month of July was short-term missions trips, as three of our seven trips for the year took place during July. First, a small team of agricultural specialists from Calvary headed to Moldova where they participated in multiple agricultural projects, including partnering with Moldovan pastor Alexei to build a greenhouse, which will be used to reach the Moldovans in his village. Next our students and a handful of leaders hopped across the pond to the UK for a week of serving alongside local churches in Sunderland, England. This was Student Ministry’s third year straight traveling to Sunderland, and they were able to clearly see the work God has been doing there in and through his people. And finally a team of nine traveled to Zimbabwe where they partnered with The Michael Project through River of Life Church to assist in their ongoing ministries, including working in the local preschools, providing sewing lessons for the women, and serving in the baby house, which was a recipient of one of our past Thanksgiving offerings.
We had the joy of welcoming and recognizing 85 new members into our Calvary Church family on July 14 and 15.

We commissioned three couples as new global partners. These couples and their families have made the commitment to go out into the world and serve God by making connections and building community in order to share His gospel with those who are far off. We ask that you join us in praying for these global partners as they begin their ministry.
