Kindergarten - 4th Grade

Welcome to Calvary Church’s K-4 Ministries where we desire to inspire each child to pursue life in Christ! It is our desire to come alongside you and partner with you in your children’s spiritual development. We count it a privilege to be a part of what God is doing in their young lives! We are available to serve your family on Sunday mornings during the 9:30 and 11:00am services, as well as Wednesdays at 6:30pm.

Kindergarten

In Kindergarten, we review God’s story from creation to salvation through the perspective of God’s plan. We teach the basic attributes of God, and they hear a clear message of salvation.


1st-4th Grade 

We take 1st - 4th graders through the one story of the Bible two times:

In 1st and 2nd grade, our Treasure Island theme encourages the children to “dig for treasures in God’s Big Story” and discover that God, Himself, is the greatest treasure of all!

In 3rd and 4th grade, our “FBI” agents (Faithful Bible Investigators) are reminded that, in spite of sinful choices and overwhelming circumstances, God is always in control, and His mission is possible because He is unstoppable!


Take-Home Papers

Each week, your child will receive a take-home paper that helps to give an overview of what they learned about that morning. This is a tool to help you to go deeper with your child as you disciple them at home. (For the 1st-4th graders, their take-home paper will include a devotional bookmark to encourage them to spend time in God’s Word.)

Wednesday Evenings

Kids Choir

6:00 - 6:30pm | Sept. - April
Kid’s Choir is designed to give children ages Kindergarten - 6th Grade the opportunity to develop their musical talents for the purpose of leading others in worship and bringing glory to the Lord through singing!
